Rescue Squad Mater

Rescue Squad Mater is a 2008 Pixar computer animated short film directed by John Lasseter and codirected by Rob Gibbs and Victor Navone. It is the first short in the Cars Toons Maters Tall Tales series. The short features characters from the Cars films and takes place after the events of Cars. It was first released on Toon Disney on October 27, 2008, and was included in the home release of the Cars Toons Maters Tall Tales disc compilation.

On November 6, 2010, Rescue Squad Mater was released on DVD and BluRay as part of the Cars Toons Maters Tall Tales compilation disc set.
